Her father was born in Arkansas. Her mother was born in Illinois. She could read and write and she spoke English. She had been married one time for 31 years. She had three children none of whom were still living at the time of the census.      There is an apparent error in the 1900 census record since John and Rebecca C. were married in August 1869 both should have indicated that they were married for 31 years. However, John is shown as being married only 26 years. Rebecca C. Kelley died on January 5, 1923 at age 75.
