An interesting note regarding the 1850 Todd County KY Census. Shown in district Number 1 on pages 202A and 202B are several Henderson families. I have not yet tied them to Barbara Henderson, wife of Amos but I feel certain there is a connection. The families (which will be listed later) are living in dwellings 107, 108 and 110. Barbara's sonTthomas Jones is living in dwelling 109 and her son Isaac Jones is living in dwelling 111. My belief is that these Hendersons are John Henderson (son of Isaac) and brother to Barbara (wife of Amos). However, there is conflicting information that indicates that the John mentioned above may not have ever left Chatham County, North Carolina. It will take continued research to find the truth.

This source also indicates Taylor died on July 13, 1869. He was shown on the 1870 Chatham County NC Census living with his brother Hezekiah H. so it is not likely that he was already dead. As far as the marriage is concerned there is no proof either way. That information will be left in the record for now. Research continues.
