Will Book A page 127. Last Will and Testament of Joseph M. Scott. Dated      
September 27th 1885. "1st. I do hereby consitute and appoint my son Joseph   
M. Scott to be the sole executor of this my last Will directing my executor  
to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses and the legacies hereinafter   
given out of my estate." Items 2 & 3 relate to personal property &c. "my     
real estate (I) give to the said Joseph M. Scott and Joicey Ann Baker,       
Emily L. Scott, Rob(er)t F. Scott and Adah L. Scott and Henry M. Scott and   
my beloved wife Martha A. Scott the following lands and premises, to wit:    
the NW 1/4 and the SW 1/4 and the West half of [the] SE 1/4 and the West     
fractional 2/2 - NE 1/4 all in section thirty-two, township eight south,     
Range 26 West in Pike County, Arkansas, to be kept by them in common and not 
to be divided or sold until the youngest children herein named becomes 16    
years old, but they may & shall enjoy said lands & privileges equal, and at  
any time after the youngest child becomes to the age of sixteen, they may    
divide such lands equal among themselves, share & share alike, and at all    
times the children aforesaid, shall support (their) mother's interest in     
said lands. 5. And I give to the said Joseph M. in addition to the above     
named real estate, 40 acres I own about 4 miles West of Murfreesboro on the  
Center Point Road, the Nos. (land description) I don't know, in addition     
still, to the above, which I ommitted, I give to the six children above      
named & my Martha A., seventy acres I own in Section 5, NW 1/4, Township 9S, 
R26 in Hempstead County, to be used and disposed by them as the above        
described lands, and I give to my daughter Sarah Jane Jones and my son W.B.  
Scott and son John M. Scott and my son James M. Scott, the following lands,  
to wit: E. 1/2 of the SE 1/4 and the S. 1/2 of NE 1/4 of Section 31,         
Township 8S, R26 West in Pike County, Arkansas and the E 1/2 of the NE 1/4   
of Section 6, Town(ship) 9S, R26 West in Hempstead County, Arkansas, this    
to (be) equally (divided) between them, share and share alike." Witnesses,   
John M. Tribble, A.O. Tribble, W.F. Bradley (and) R.A. Leslie. December 31st 
A.D. 1885. Before the undersigned Clerk of (the) Probate Court &c. appeared  
John M. Tribble, R.O. Tribble and W.F. Bradley who being first duly sworn    
depose and say, that we saw Joseph M. Scott sign the foregoing instrument of 
writing etc., he at the same (time) declaring the same to be his last Will   
and Testament, and we at the request of the said testator and in his         
presence and in the presence of each other, signed the same as attesting     
witnesses, and we verily believe the said testator was of sound and          
disposing mind and memory at the time of signing, as aforesaid. Sworn to &c. 
ect. J.O.A. Bush, Clerk. Recorded January 2, 1886.
