Last Will and Testament of Isaac White of Pike County, Arkansas. Dated August 6th 1859. Recorded April 26, 1865. " I hereby give, devise and bequeath to my grandchildren, Millard Morehead Mauney and Roxanna Mauney, children of my daughter Sarah Ann Mauney and Doctor George R. Mauney, the following mentioned and described land lying and being in the County of Pike in the State of Arkansas, to wit: the South West half of the South West quarter of Section twenty-one in Township eight south, of range twenty-five West containing eighty acres. I hereby give, devise and bequeath to my wife Polly White during her natural life, the whole and entire residue of my estate both real and personal and mixed of every name, nature and description and at her death the same and every part and parcel thereof I hereby give, devise and bequeath to my son William Jordan White, to have and to hold the same unto him, his heirs and assigns forever, and I hereby declare it my will and desire that said property is kept and used during the lifetime of my said wife for her maintenance and support as well as for the maintenance and support of my said son William Jordan White. I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my said son William Jordan White, Executor of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Isaac White have hereunto set my hand and seal in the presence of John D. Hancock and William J. Kelley subscribing witnesses hereto at my request and who subscribed their names as such in my presence and in the presence of each other this the 6th day of August 1859. Isaac White. Witnesses, J.D. Hancock (and) Wm. J. Kelley. April Term 1865. In open court before the Judge thereof came Wm. J. Kelley and John D. Hancock who first being duly sworn depose and say that they have been acquainted with Isaac White for a number of years and that he requested them to sign an instrument of writing which he declared to be his last Will and Testament, that he signed said instrument in their presence, that we signed the same in his presence and in the presence of each other and that he was of sound and disposing mind and memory at that time and that (Isaac) White died in Pike County.
