Abstract made by an unknown abstractor about 1890 from original records of   

Pike County, Arkansas and recorded in Abstract of Title Book Prior to 1890

                             October 24th 1860.                              

                                                                             

W.H. Preston et al, creditors of the estate of Rice Stringer deceased,       

consent and agree that William Gilmer administrator of (the) Estate of said  

Rice Stringer deceased may and shall set over to Rachel Stringer the widow   

of said Rice Stringer deceased a certain negro man slave named Scott, the    

property of said decedent upon and for the consideration that the said       

Rachel Stringer shall and does absolutely relinquish all her dower interest  

in and to all the real estate of which the said Rice Stringer died seized    

and possessed and particularly the plantation and farm of which the said     

decedent died seized and possessed. Instrument duly acknowledged. Filed.
