Preaching, Bro. J.S. Robertson, received one by confession and baptism. We
the disciples of Christ at Antioch, Pike county, Arkansas, on the third
Lord's day in Jan. 1861, from our knowledge of our beloved Bro. Abner H.
Kelley, believing that if he will apply himself to the work of the
ministry, he will prove useful to the cause of Christ, and believing that
it is his desire and that he will so prove to be: We therefore commend him
as a faithful Bro. in Christ and minister of the gospel, done by order of
the Church.
