McLaughlin ... As to the birth year, John Thomas McLaughlin, there is some
question as to what year he was born. He lists 1850 in the 1900 census so
that is what I use, however, his tombstone lists 1847 and a page from an
old Bible lists 1848. Marjorie B. Orr, Arlington, Texas correspondence with
David Kelley (11 Dec 1983).
