County, Arkansas (on) May 6, 1860 at the age of eighty-four years and 10
months. Betsy McLaughlin, his wife, died in 1862 in her 84th year. John C.
McLaughlin, her father, was born in Missouri Territory, January 3, 1816 and
died, October 28, 1898. (He was my grandfather). Mary McLaughlin, nee
Kelley, wife of John C. McLaughlin, was born in Alabama, December 12, 1820
and died, March 27, 1885. Elijah Kelley was born 1800 in Tennessee and came
with his parents and settled in Pike County in 1815, died 1884. Elizabeth
