It appearing to the satisfaction of the court that Stacy Davis now Stacy Right administratrix with the will annexed of the estate of Jeremiah Davis, deceased, is waisting and mismanaging said estate; it is therefore ordered by the Court that unless she be and appears within thirty days from and after the date of the service of this rule and file additional security; that her said Letters of administration will be vacated; and it is further ordered that a copy of this rule be served on her the said Stacy. ____________________________________________________________________________ Clark County, Arkansas Circuit Court Minutes, March Term 1824, page 1. ____________________________________________________________________________ At a Circuit Court holden at the house of Adam Stroud in the County of Clark, on the 8th day of July, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight-hundred and twenty-eight. Present, the Honorable William Trimble, sole and presiding Judge of said Court. Estate Settlement of Jeremiah Davis Stacia Davis, administratrix of the estate of Jeremiah Davis, made settlement of said estate as follows, to wit: Said administratrix stands charged with amount of the appraisement Bill of said Estate No. 1. $706.75 Also the amount of the appraisement Bill No. 2. $125.75 $832.50 ____________________________________________________________________________ It is ordered that said administratrix be credited by the several sums following, to wit: By Seven per cent on $832.50 cents, the amount of Estate. $58.27 By clerks fees paid by administratrix for services relative to said Estate. $7.50 By cash paid for tuition & board of Nancy Davis, one of the children of said Jeremiah Davis, decd., during her minority. $15.25 By cash paid for tuition & board for Rachel Davis, also a minor orphan. $54.00 By cash paid for tuition & board for Clement Davis, likewise a minor of said Jeremiah, decd. $101.00 By cash paid for tuition & board for Lydia Davis, likewise a minor of J. Davis, deceased. $15.00 By cash paid for tuition & board for Isafena Davis, likewise a minor of said J. Davis, deceased. $15.00 By amount ordered to be allowed for clothing furnished said children above named for six years at $12 for each year. $300.00 By amount ordered to be allowed for boarding Cyrene Davis, Lydia Davis & Isafena Davis, minor children of said Jeremiah Davis, decd., for six years at $15 each, per year. $270.00 By cash paid appraisers for appraising said estate. $5.00 $901.02 ____________________________________________________________________________ Recapitulation Said Administratrix stands charged with the sum of Eight-hundred and thirty-two dollars & fifty cents. $832.50 And is credited with the sum of nine hundred and one dollars and two cents. $901.02 Leaving a balance in favor of said administratrix of sixty-eight dollars and fifty cents. $68.52 ____________________________________________________________________________ And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the said administratrix has fully administered said estate and that nothing further appertaining thereto remains in her hands unadministrated. Therefore, on motion of said administratrix, it is ordered that she be discharged from her said administration. Ordered that Court adjourn until tomorrow morning, nine o'clock.
