Mrs. N.J. Trout

                      Aged Citizen Dies Here Wednesday
Mrs. N.J. Trout, 76, Succumbs at Home of Son Following Brief Illness.
Mrs. N.J. Trout, aged 76, for many years a resident of this place, died at
the home of her son, S.O. Trout, here at 2:40 o'clock Wednesday afternoon
(September 21, 1932) of the infirmities of old age after five days' illness.
She became ill last Friday morning, from which time she continued to grow
steadily worse until the end.
Mrs. Trout and her husband, who preceded her in death in 1920, came to
Delight in 1904 and settled here. From that time until Mr. Trout died they
maintained a home at this place and reared their children here. Since the
passing of her husband, Mrs. Trout had made her home with her children,
whose homes are scattered about over Arkansas and Louisiana, but those who
knew her here still considered that she was a resident of Delight. She came
to live with Mr. Trout several months ago.
Deceased is survived by six children, three sons and three daughters, S.O.
and Harold Trout of Delight; J.M. Trout of Little Rock and Mrs. W.N. Deaton
of Conway; Mrs. Jno. Dowling of Ashdown, and Mrs. Jno. Lyons of Minden, La.
Funeral services were conducted from the Church of Christ here Thursday
afternoon by Grady Alexander. Burial was in the Delight cemetery.
The Tribune joins the many, many friends of the deceased and her family in
expressions of sympathy to the bereaved children and relatives.
