____________________________________________________________________________ W.F. Westerman. W.F. Westerman, aged 74, died at the family home in the College Hill community, 4 miles northwest of Murfreesboro last Saturday, after an illness of several months duration. Mr. Westerman was one of the pioneer citizens of Pike county, being born and having lived in the community of College Hill all of his life. During his lifetime he made many friends by his quiet, unassuming nature, and his death came as a shock to his many friends and the friends of the family. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Chas. and Lev. both of Texas, two daughters, Mrs. Isabell Lingo and Mrs. Viena Webb, both of the College Hill community. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at College Hill by Dave Powell and burial had in the cemetery at that place. We join with the friends of the family in offering our deepest sympathy. ____________________________________________________________________________ Pike County Courier, Volume 45, Number 5, February 2, 1934, page 1, column 3. ____________________________________________________________________________ HTML file and design by David Kelley, 1997.
