Deed of Conveyance

                       Know All Men By These Presents:                       
                                                                             
That we, Milas Bagwell and Margret his wife, formerly Margret Kelley of the  
County of Red River and State of Texas, and A.J. Ward and Nancy his wife,    
formerly Nancy Kelley of the County of Titus and State of Texas, and A.J.    
Ward as agent and attorney in fact for Wesley Kelley, Jno. C. McLaughlin and 
Mary his wife, formerly Mary Kelley, William F. McLaughlin and Emily his     
wife, formerly Emily Kelley, Elijah Kelley Jr., Abner H. Kelley and Amanda   
Kelley of the County of Pike and State of Arkansas, heirs at law of          
Elizabeth Kelley formerly Elizabeth Humphries, the widow of John Humphries   
deceased, for and in consideration of the sum of Nine hundred and twenty     
five Dollars and various other considerations, have this day bargained and   
sold, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do hereby sell, release,  
convey and confirm unto John Robbins and his wife Cynthia, formerly Cynthia  
Humphries, and Martin G. Miller and his wife Rebecca Miller, formerly        
Rebecca Humphries, and William Humphries of the Counties of Red River and    
Titus, all our right, title, interest and claim, both legal and equitable,   
unto 1 league and labor of land located and Surveyed upon the headright      
certificate of John Humphries as by the BLC of Red (River) County No. 212    
for one league and labor of land "1212" acres, of which has been located and 
surveyed in the County of Cass and the remaining portion of said certificate 
has been surveyed in the County of Titus on the waters of Ripley's creek,    
together with all and singular, the rights, members, hereditaments and       
appurtenances to the same, belonging or in any wise incident or              
appartaining. To have and to hold all and singular the above described       
tracts or parcels of land therein mentioned, unto the said John Robbins and  
Cynthia Robbins his wife, and Martin G. Miller and Rebecca his wife, and     
William Humphries, their heirs  and assigns forever; hereby quit claiming    
and relinquishing unto the said Robbins and his wife, Miller and his wife,   
and William Humphries, their heirs and assigns, forever, all our right,      
title, claim and interest in and to the land above described, located and    
surveyed as aforesaid, and we do hereby bind ourselves, our heirs and legal  
representatives, all others claiming by, through, or under us.               
                                                                             
In witness, whereof, we have hereto set our hands and affixed our seals,     
using scrawls for seals, this the 6th day of October A.D. 1852.

Be it remembered, that on this day personally before me, George F. Lawton,   
Clerk of the County aforesaid, appeared Milas Bagwell and his wife Margret   
Bagwell, with each of whom I am well acquainted and whose names appear to    
the annexed and foregoing deed to Jno. Robbins and Cynthia Robbins, Martin   
G. Miller and Rebecca Miller, and William Humphries, for all the right,      
title, claim and interest in and to, two certain tracts or parcels of land   
surveyed upon the headright Certificate of John Humphries deceased, and      
therein described, and signed their names in my presence and acknowledged    
that they had executed the same for the considerations, uses and purposes    
therein contained and expressed, and the said Margret, being examined by me  
privily and apart from her husband and having said deed fully explained to   
her, she, the said Margret, acknowledged the same to be her act and deed and 
declared that she had willingly signed, sealed and delivered the same and    
that she wished not to retract it.                                           
                                                                             
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my offical signature and seal of   
office in Clarksville, this 6th day of October, A.D. 1852.

Before me, James Cowan, Notary Public, in and for said County, personally    
appeared A.J. Ward and Nancy Ward his wife, with each of whom I am           
personally acquainted and whose names appear to the foregoing deed, which &  
date(d) on the 6th day of October, A.D. 1852 and hereto annexed, and         
acknowledged the same to be their act and deed, and that (they) had signed,  
sealed and delivered said deed for the considerations, uses and purposes,    
therein stated. Mrs. Nancy Ward, wife of A.J. Ward, made the foregoing       
acknowledgement before me, separate and apart from her husband, she further  
acknowledged that she had signed, sealed and delivered said deed of her own  
free will and accord and wished not to retract it.                           
                                                                             
To certify which, I hereunto sign my name and affix my official seal, this   
the 19th day of October A.D. 1852.
