Brewer, both of Kirby, Jerry Brewer of Newhope and Tony Brewer of Germany; one daughter, Helen Hill of Alpine; two brothers, Howard Brewer of Sikeston. Missouri and Billy Brewer of Murray, Kentucky; three sisters, Bonnie DeForest of Newburg, Indiana, Stella Morfield of Omaha, Nebraska and Lillian Williams of Sikeston, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.      "He was preceded in death by one son, Arnold Brewer; one brother, Wade Brewer, and one sister, Mary Johnson.      "Services were held Saturday, December 26, in the Mount Joy Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Garner officiating.      "Burial was in the Mount Joy Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home of Glenwood.      "Pallbearers were Mike Duren, Todd Ray, Lonnie Cogburn, Roy Garrett, Ricky S. Brewer and Archie Parker."

Maria Anna Catherina Wolff married Johann Balthaser Knortzer I, son of Killian Knorzer and Anna Barbara ______, in 1739 at PA.      She apparently died prior to 1 April 1774 since on that date Balthaser II sold, by auction, "for the sum of £221", the lot where Johann Balthasar and Anna Catherina had resided, Number 84 on the east side of Beaver Street in the Town of York.

George Conatser was born in 1777 at KY. He was the son of Johannes Nicholas Knortzer and Catherine Cooper Henlein.      Something is amiss here. Sampson is shown as born seven years before George married Barbara. George and Barbara could not have married earlier because George would have been only 15 or 16 years old and Barbara would have been 12 or younger. Either Sampson does not belong to this family of the birth date for George and Barbara is wrong or the birth date for Sampson is wrong. The 1850 Morgan County Indiana Census seems to support the birth date of Sampson. More research is needed. George Conatser married Barbara "Barbary" Neate on March 15, 1800 at Rowan County, NC. George Conatser appeared as head of household in the census enumerated 1810 at Montgomery County, KY. Information was found on Page 382. 10010-2001000. He died in 1816 at Mason County, KY. His last name was also spelled Knortzer. His last name was also spelled Knetzar. His last name was also spelled Knetzer [in 1810 Montgomery County Kentucky Census Index].

Killian Knorzer was born in 1677 at Treschklingin, Bad Rappenau, Heilbronn, Baden, Germany.      [In my research of the Knortzer family I have found many spellings of the last name - Knortzer to Canatcher and in between. Somewhere in the early to middle 1800s it appears the spelling became "Americanized" and Knortzer led to Conatser. Even in that form there have been several spellings. The first spelling I came across in my research was Conatser (in Pike County, Arkansas). Most recently I've come across the spelling, Connatser. Most records seem to use the Knortzer and the Conatser spelling for the name. Since my first records were entered using the Conatser spelling I will continue to use that spelling for all of my entries. (I have tried to identify the persons whose last name was spelled differently though.)]. He married Anna Barbara ______. Killian Knorzer died on November 30, 1734 at Treschklingin, Bad Rappenau, Heilbronn, Baden, Germany.
